Individual Market Carrier List 2026

For policies effective on or after January 1, 2026

AFFORDABLE CARE ACT (ACA)

The following are lists of insurers and Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO) who advised the Florida Department of Financial Services, Office of Insurance Regulation that they are marketing individual health insurance plans under the ACA beginning January 1, 2026. The plans offered by these companies may be available on the Marketplace, off the Exchange, or both.

You should visit the federal Marketplace website at www.healthcare.gov to determine what plans are available in your zip code. If you are not eligible for Advanced Premium Tax Credits (APTC) or do not wish to take advantage of the tax credit, you can purchase a plan directly from an insurer or HMO off the Exchange by contacting the company or an agent directly.

The open enrollment period for 2026 coverage is from November 1, 2025, through January 15, 2026. Policies purchased or changed on or before December 15 will be effective January 1. New plans and changes to existing plans made between December 16 and January 15 will be effective February 1. Coverage must be purchased during this time period unless you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period. All coverage is guaranteed issue regardless of health history and there is no pre-existing condition waiting period. For more information about the ACA, please review our Affordable Care Act Overview or contact the Department of Financial Services, Consumer Services Division at 1-877-MY-FL-CFO (1-877-693-5236) within Florida or directly at 850-413-3089.
