The Florida Veterans Foundation (FVF) advocates on behalf of Florida’s veterans to ensure they have access to healthcare, education, jobs and their benefits. Many of the members of FVF are retired servicemembers who are well-trained on the rules and regulations that pertain to veterans. FVF partners with service organizations to provide financial, educational, employment and social support to help veterans get back on their feet and into society.

VA burial benefits can help servicemembers, Veterans and their family members plan and pay for a burial or memorial service in a VA national cemetery. Family members can also order memorial items to honor the service of a Veteran.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Vet Center Program

This website allows military personnel and their families find community-based Vet Centers near them (there are 207 nationwide). Vet Centers provide free readjustment counseling and outreach services to veterans who served in a combat zone and to military family members dealing with military-related issues.
