Mark your calendars! Visit our Operation S.A.F.E. (Stop Adult Financial Exploitation) website to view a pre-recorded Be Scam Smart webinar in Spanish, September 25 through October 2, 2020.

Grandparents Day is Sunday, September 13, 2020! The Florida Department of Financial Services would like to recognize grandparents and the special roles they play in grandchildren’s lives. As the world’s challenges increase, so has the responsibilities of today’s grandparent, including assisting with their grandchildren’s educational needs.

The Department offers two free financial literacy programs that can help with this endeavour! Finance Your Future explores real world topics in financial literacy and is designed for middle and high school students, teachers and other adults. CLIMB, Children Learning the Importance of Money Basics, teaches the fundamentals of money management to children 10 and under.

Whether your role is as grandparent or parent, let Finance Your Future and CLIMB help you teach Florida’s grandchildren money responsibility in an exciting way!
