Yes. There will be a short timeframe in late December 2026 and early January 2027 when payments will not be issued. Payment processing will resume after Florida PALM go-live in January 2027.

Yes. State of Florida checks will look different.  They are being issued from a new accounting system, Florida PALM, beginning in January 2027.

Payments can be reissued.  Always work with the State Agency issuing the payment to get a replacement when needed.

FLIPS and MFMP VIP serve different purposes.  The FLIPS is the central location for approved payees to register their preferred payment contact, remittance, and financial information so that they can receive payments from the State of Florida. 

MFMP VIP is the State of vendor registration system for procurement activities.  Entities who want to provide goods and/or services to the State of Florida should register with MFMP VIP. 

No.  You will not need to re-register in MFMP VIP.  You are encouraged to sign into MFMP VIP after Florida PALM go-live to confirm your company information is accurate.

Yes. Vendors who currently receive payments from the State of Florida will receive an invitation to register in FLIPS to confirm or update address information and Form W9 information.  Invitations will be sent starting in late 2026 and into 2027.

Vendors who receive an invitation are encouraged to register in FLIPS to review remittance information from the new accounting system on the FLIPS Inquiry pages. Remittance information will not be available in FLIPS until the new accounting system is implemented in January 2027 and at least one payment has been issued to the vendor.

No, not if your information is current and you are already receiving payments from the State of Florida. Existing supplier remittance data will automatically transfer to Florida PALM for payment processing. However, you must register in FLIPS if you need to update your Form W-9, direct deposit, or remittance details.

No. Vendors who are not currently doing business with the State of Florida via purchase orders or contracts do not need to register in FLIPS.  An invitation will be provided when an agency awards a purchase order or contract, if no FLIPS registration exists for that vendor.

A FLIPS Status of Not Validated in MFMP VIP means the supplier profile in FLIPS has not been completed. This is expected if you have not been awarded a contract or issued a purchase order (PO) since Florida PALM go-live. When you have been awarded a contract or are being issued a PO for the first time after Florida PALM go-live, you must work with the State Agency issuing the contract or PO to begin the FLIPS registration process.

Vendors can continue to use the self-service portal to manage company information, contacts, locations, and commodity codes. The process for managing remittance information will change after Florida PALM go-live:

• Prior to Dec. 4, 2026, - Payment remittance addresses can be updated in MFMP VIP.
• January 2027, and later - Payment remittance information can only be updated in FLIPS after Florida PALM go-live.

Certain FLIPS information is displayed in MFMP VIP for convenience (as read-only), such as the FLIPS Status, FLIPS Last Update Date, PALM Supplier ID, and the PALM Remit Address. Although it is visible in MFMP VIP, it must be updated and managed in FLIPS.

Payment remittance addresses can be updated in MFMP VIP until December 4, 2026. Beginning December 5, 2026, suppliers and payees will update payment remittance information in the Florida Integrated Payee System (FLIPS). Vendors who currently receive payments from the State of Florida will receive an invitation to register in the Florida Integrated Payee System (FLIPS) to confirm or update address information and Form W9 information in late 2026.

Complete your registration using your Agency FEIN.  This will match your Agency supplier record in Florida PALM and will allow other agencies to issue purchase orders that can be encumbered in MFMP or Florida PALM.

Vendors will only need to perform duplicate entries for a short time near the end of 2026 while the state transitions from the old accounting system to the new accounting system.  During this transition, vendors will receive an invitation to submit information to FLIPS and will still need to submit substitute Form W9 information via the current DFS Substitute Form W-9 Verification website.   This will allow you to receive payments from our current accounting system and be prepared to receive payments from the new accounting system. 

Contact the agency that is currently paying you and request to receive direct deposit payments.  The agency will collect basic contact information needed for the FLIPS invitation to be sent to you.

To update direct deposit information, contact the agency that sends payments for an invitation.

Beginning in January 2027, payment remittance information will be available in FLIPS.  If you are receiving regular payments, you should get an invitation to FLIPS in late 2026.

Yes. The Florida Department of Financial Services Transparency Website will continue to be updated.  The public can use the Vendor/Payee Payments page to search for payments using several criteria.  Payments issued from our current accounting system, FLAIR, and our new accounting system Florida PALM can be searched.
