TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis issued a statement on the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Secretary Noah Valenstein stepping down from the agency. The CFO’s statement is below.
CFO Jimmy Patronis said, “Florida has environmental beauty like no other state in the country, and the last four years we have had an equally extraordinary leader in Secretary Noah Valenstein at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. I commend him for his service and know he will be a rockstar in his next role. As Governor DeSantis continues to make protecting our environment a top priority, I look forward to partnering with him and Shawn Hamilton on many more great projects for our state.”
