Joe Biden is afraid of Ron DeSantis. That much is clear. While we know that our great Governor is simply keeping his head down and working hard to keep our businesses open and our economy growing, our insecure President thinks Gov. DeSantis is a political threat to his future. In fact, just recently Gov. DeSantis worked – with no help from the feds – to secure another 3,000 doses of monoclonal antibody treatment after Biden cut supply to Florida.
---

After weeks of Gov. DeSantis’ public promotion of monoclonal antibody treatments at events across the state, Joe Biden took to his presidential podium to applaud how great the treatment works for reducing hospitalizations and Covid-19 complications.

---

But, what he did next was not increase our supply at all - at least not in Florida. In what can only be described as a clumsy attempt to swipe at our Governor for his weeks of public promotion of monoclonal antibody treatments, Biden CUT Florida’s allotment of this therapy by 41,000 doses per week - over half of the 72,000 usual weekly doses.

---

Biden’s White House is trying to explain away the serious cut to Florida’s supply by saying antibody therapies need to be more equitable across all states. But, that is crazy. Monoclonal antibody therapies are a medicine, and as such, they should be distributed based on the amount of people who are sick, not an arbitrary standard of equality. I have two children. If one of them is sick and I only have one dose of Tylenol, I do not split the one dose evenly between the healthy and the sick child. I treat my sick child. The resources may seem “uneven” between them, but it’s also common sense to help heal the sick.
Biden’s refusal to allow Floridians unfettered access to lifesaving therapies for Covid-19 is dangerous, and at this point his flailing political attacks are borderline treasonous as well. When you put your own citizens in harm’s way for your perceived political gain, you have neglected the duties bestowed upon you by the free people of this great nation. Shame on you, Mr. President. It’s time you reverse this terrible, self-centered political policy. Our people are image-bearers of God. Not your political pawns.
