Holocaust Fee Waiver

An estimated 12,500 Holocaust survivors and their families in Florida were being assessed an international wire transfer fee that amounts to a 10 percent tax on each payment the survivor receives. In partnership with financial institutions in Florida, the Department took action to have the wire transfer fee waived. This website provides access to the fee waiver forms Holocaust survivors can send to their financial institutions and other useful information.

Unclaimed Property

The Chief Financial Officer holds unclaimed property consisting mostly of money from dormant accounts in financial institutions, insurance and utility companies, securities and trust holdings.
