I recently released a video which highlights my ‘Rally at the Restaurant’ events in Jacksonville and Tampa this week as I fight for vital COVID-19 liability protections for Florida's businesses. We must allow business owners who follow the proper health and safety guidelines to be protected from frivolous lawsuits and sue and settle tactics that will stifle our state’s recovery.

Lastly, in recognition of December as Identity Theft Prevention Month, I provided tips to protect Floridians this holiday season. Experts say identity theft can happen to anyone, and it is important to know what you can do to reduce your risk during this busy time of year. Florida continues to face a fraud epidemic, as our state currently ranks second in fraud and identity theft reports nationwide. That is why it is so important to educate yourself and stay alert, so you don’t fall victim to a scammer looking to make a quick buck during the holidays. If you feel you've been a victim of fraud, report it immediately at FraudFreeFlorida.com.
