Early Wednesday morning, Hurricane Sally ripped through the Panhandle as a Category 2 Hurricane that caused catastrophic flooding and massive storm surge. This was exactly 16 years to the day since Hurricane Ivan devastated Pensacola in 2004. In the run-up to Hurricane Sally, we deployed four Urban Search and Rescue Teams from Tampa, Jacksonville, Orlando and Miami to assist in recovery efforts highlighted in the video below.

It will be a long road to recovery, but we will do everything possible to ensure Floridians have everything they need. My office is here to assist in whatever way we can. We will get through this together and will come back better and stronger.
