Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia Awards Over $1.7 Million to Support Immigration Enforcement for Florida Law Enforcement Agencies

2/11/2026

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- Today, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia awarded over $1.7 million to support immigration enforcement for Florida law enforcement agencies. The agencies awarded today are the Volusia Sheriff’s Office, Volusia County Corrections, Holly Hill Police Department, Daytona Beach Police Department, Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety, and the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia said, “Far too many Americans have suffered from the dangerous impacts of illegal immigration. Our law enforcement officers are working day and night to protect our communities. These funds give our law enforcement officers the resources they need to protect our communities from criminal illegal aliens. I stand with President Donald Trump and Governor Ron DeSantis in their mission to rectify the illegal immigration crisis that the reckless Biden Administration caused.”

Volusia County Sheriff Michael J. Chitwood said, “Criminal illegal aliens that seek to cause harm to our residents have no place in Volusia County. In Volusia County, our deputies' main priority is the safety and security of our residents and with these funds, we are better positioned to assist our federal law enforcement partners. Thank you to CFO Ingoglia for your support in our continued efforts to fight illegal immigration.

Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said, “Leaders like CFO Ingoglia, Governor DeSantis and President Trump understand how important it is to ensure that our law enforcement agencies have the tools they need to support public safety. Thank you, CFO Ingoglia, for investing in our deputies and our citizens in Flagler County.”

Holly Hill Police Chief Bryon K. Williams said, “Through our partnership with federal law enforcement through the 287 (g) program, my officers are better prepared to assist in fighting the impacts that illegal immigration has caused on communities across the country. I want to thank CFO Ingoglia for awarding us with this funding.”

Daytona Beach Police Chief Jakari Young said, “Thank you, CFO Ingoglia, for your continued dedication to law enforcement and helping us fight back against the devastating impacts of illegal immigration. I am thankful for the support of our federal partners and for the support of CFO Ingoglia in fighting back against illegal immigration.”

Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety Director Mark Swanson said, “The safety of our residents is always a top priority in Daytona Beach. The funding we received today makes sure that our first responders can continue to do their jobs and remove criminal illegal aliens from our city.”

Funding is awarded through the State Board of Immigration for Florida law enforcement agencies that have applied for reimbursement for 287 (g) and immigration enforcement-related activities.
