Project Timeline

The Florida PALM Project is a multiyear endeavor to replace the State’s accounting and cash management systems with a modern financial management solution. The Florida PALM Project has a timeline that is broken down into distinct periods:

  • Phase 1 – Initial Florida PALM functionality will be implemented
    • Pilot Wave – Selected agencies will transition to Florida PALM
    • Agency Solution Confirmation – A focus will be placed on readiness activities for the next Waves
    • Wave 1 – Approximately half of the remaining agency users will transition to Florida PALM
    • Wave 2 – All remaining agency users will transition to Florida PALM
    • Wave 3 – Payroll functionality will be implemented for all agencies
  • Phase 2 – Remaining Florida PALM functionality will be implemented for all agencies
  • Production Support – Provides maintenance and support services of the production Florida PALM Solution upon deployment.
