Florida Lottery

The Florida Lottery is authorized to require any vendor that provides it with goods or services or any retailer that sells lottery tickets to post an appropriate bond or to deposit collateral with the Bureau of Collateral Management ("BCM"). The type of collateral that is deposited with BCM on behalf of the Florida Lottery is currently limited to certificates of deposit ("CDs").

BCM receives receipts for such CDs directly from from the Florida Lottery after a vendor or retailer has secured a CD from an eligible bank or savings association.
