- Things to know about your continuing education
Looking for continuing education (CE) courses to be sure you get all your hours completed? Our online course search can easily help you out and lists those courses approved by the Department.
Because many factors may affect your continuing education requirement (e.g. licenses held, number of years licensed, etc.), we encourage you to periodically check your MyProfile account to determine your individual continuing education compliance requirements and status. You will also be able to find more approved CE courses after logging in to your MyProfile account as the public search limits the results to the first 100 course offerings.
We wish you well as you continue to complete your hours to keep your knowledge current in an ever changing insurance market. And remember, your CE compliance date is your DUE date, not your DO date.
An important feature we implemented after feedback from the industry is an improved ability to review continuing education compliance status. The new CE compliance area is easier to read and understand while giving more options to find future approved courses.
We have a tutorial that shows how to read, understand, and navigate through the CE compliance evaluation page to monitor your CE requirements. The tutorial is located at:

We also have a tutorial that shows you how to perform simple and advanced searches for approved CE courses that apply to your license(s). The tutorial is located at:

The Department deployed an upgrade to our MyProfile system on April 27, 2012. While some parts of our external systems have been upgraded to be compatible with multiple browsers, the majority of functions used by our education providers have yet to be upgraded. The Department highly recommends that all education providers continue to use Internet Explorer versions 5-8 when navigating through MyProfile. If using version 9 and experiencing difficulties, then click here to learn how to use the compatibility feature.
The Department is aware of technical issues some users are experiencing such as those that may cause some delays in education providers posting credits. Licensees' compliance screens may not reflect the most updated information until providers are able to upload rosters. Licensees will receive credit for the date the course was completed. In the event licensees' appointments are affected due to delay in updating rosters, we will work with those licensees to resolve the matter.
We are currently working to resolve all technical issues. Those affected may have to wait until the system issues have been resolved for their compliance records to be updated. An email notification will be issued to all education providers once this conversion is complete. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve our processes.
