Revised Rules for Penalty Guidelines
We are updating the rules that govern fines, suspensions and revocations of licenses of insurance agents, customer representatives, service representatives and adjusters. The changes include adding new regulations adopted by the Florida Legislature and deleting sections that have been repealed. The changes also increase the penalties for violating certain laws in order to reflect the Department’s experience in dealing with the frequency and severity of these violations. Other changes are meant to clarify the current rules.
