As the Bureau of Fire Standards and Training (BFST) closely monitors the impact of COVID-19, the health and safety of our employees and customers remains our top priority.
In order to limit the spread of COVID-19, the Bureau of Fire Standards and Training at the Florida State Fire College has closed our office locations until further notice.
Realizing that the work we do is critical to the firefighters, fire safety inspectors and fire departments around the State, we continue our commitment to being available when our customers need us most; however, the public will not be permitted to visit the Florida State Fire College facility until further notice.

In light of recent events and continued government guidance, Pearson Vue will slowly begin opening locations throughout the State. As such, beginning Monday (May 11), Pearson Vue will be implementing a temporary policy requiring candidates (in addition to their employees) wear face masks or face coverings while in Pearson-owned testing centers and while taking exams.
In addition, as sites open, they will be abiding by safe distance requirement. Therefore, many sites will be testing at half capacity!
