When is the claim deadline?

Pursuant to the March 11, 2014 court order liquidating Union American, the last day to file a claim will be September 11, 2014, or six months after the date of the order.

How do I report a new claim?

The Receiver will be mailing out Proof of Claims form at some later date.

I filed a lawsuit against Union American prior to their entry into rehabilitation. Why can't the lawsuit progress?

Pursuant to the order and to Section 631.041(1), Florida Statutes, there is in place an automatic stay prohibiting judicial and administrative proceedings against the company.
