Senior Forensic Accountant

$57,690.55 - $103,427.05 annually

Starting salary will be determined based on experience.

GENERAL DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Serves as the team lead for estate accounting forensic accountants.

• Prepares a plan of Rehabilitation or Liquidation at the beginning of a receivership and coordinates and monitors the plan

• Ensures preparation of payroll taxes, tax returns, checks, and operating activities as necessary to maintain company operations prior to liquidation
• Analyzes and reviews financial statements and other financial records
• Oversees the procurement and selection of accounting providers
• Coordinates workload of forensic and senior accountants
• Analyzes complex balance sheet accounts
• Responsible for monitoring all investment activities of receiverships
• Formulates policies and procedures
• Prepares analytical data and testifies as required
• Travels as required on short notice

• Performs other duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting and four years of professional experience in accounting.

• A Certified Public Accountant license can substitute for one year of the professional accounting experience.

• Statutory Accounting experience is preferred, but not required.
