Customer Representative applicants who hold the following professional designations are not required to sit for the customer representative examination:
A copy of the original letter from the applicable accrediting entity certifying an applicant's designation status is required.
NOTE: The Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) from the Florida Association of Insurance Agents is no longer accepted as of July 1, 2015.
All-lines (Company and Independent) adjuster applicants who hold any of the following designations are not required to sit for the state adjuster examination:
A copy of the original letter from the applicable accrediting entity certifying an applicant’s designation status is required.
Life including Variable Annuity and/or Health Applicants: Applicants
who hold the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation and have been engaged in the insurance
business within the 4-year period prior to filing their application for
license with the Department are not required to meet the pre-licensing
educational requirement or sit for the life including variable annuity
and/or health examination.
An original letter from the American College
of Financial Services certifying an applicant's designation status is
required.
Applicants for the following licenses, who hold the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and that have been engaged in the insurance business within a 4-year period prior to filing their application for license with the Department, are not required to meet the pre-licensing educational requirement or sit for the examination:
A copy of the original letter from the American Institute for Chartered Property Underwriters certifying an applicant's designation status is required.
