Core Functions

• Investigate and resolve utilization and reimbursement disputes between health care providers and carriers.
• Provide administrative support in development of statewide schedules of maximum reimbursement allowances for services rendered under the workers’ compensation system.
• Monitor medical claims data filed with the Division to identify health care provider violations.
• Process Health Care Provider applications.
• Process Expert Medical Advisor applications.
• Maintain Health Care Provider and Expert Medical Advisor databases.
• Provide technical assistance to health care providers and other industry stakeholders in the implementation of the Florida Workers’ Compensation system.
