Risk Management
The Division of Risk Management is responsible for ensuring that participating
State of Florida agencies receive quality workers' compensation, liability,
federal civil rights, automobile liability, and property insurance coverage at
reasonable rates by providing self-insurance, purchase of insurance, claims
handling and technical assistance in managing risk.

Public Records Requests
Bureaus
Provides professional safety training; quality evaluation tools and other
loss prevention/cost control programs that enable our customers, the agencies of
the State of Florida, to better facilitate their individual safety programs. Our
main objective at Risk Services is to provide these services on the highest
quality level attainable.
Investigates and makes appropriate dispositions on all general liability,
automobile liability, federal civil rights, employment, and court-awarded
attorney fee claims for damages filed against the state of Florida due to
alleged negligent acts of state employees.
