FIRESAFETY INSPECTOR II CERTIFICATION To be certified as a Firesafety Inspector II, an individual must be certified as a Firesafety Inspector I in the State of Florida, and must successfully complete 160 hours of certification training for Firesafety Inspector II, or have received equivalent training in another state. Documentation of training is to be submitted with the required Application for Firesafety Inspector II Certification (DFS-K4-1446), Personal Inquiry Waiver (DFS-K4-1020), Processing Fee (DFS-K4-1019), along with all other supporting documents. A description of each course can be found by clicking the course title below. The courses are offered at the Florida State Fire College, Community and Junior Colleges through out the state, and some of the Certified Training Centers.
