FIRE OFFICER II CERTIFICATION
To receive the Fire Officer II Certificate of Competency, the applicant must hold a Fire Officer I Certificate of Competency, Possess Fire Officer I Certification and successfully complete 320 hours of basic certification training for Fire Officer II, or have received equivalent training in another state. Documentation of training is to be submitted with the required Application for Fire Officer II Certification (DFS-K4-1448), Personal Inquiry Waiver (DFS-K4-1020), along with all other supporting documents and processing fee. A description of each course can be found by clicking the course title below. The courses are offered at the Florida State Fire College, Community and Junior Colleges through out the state, and some of the Certified Training Centers.
