- The military makes it so easy to save money; set up automatic allotment every paycheck to go into savings. You never know when you’re going to be moved, deploy, have a family emergency and have a baby… It’s easier to save as you go than to have to fork out one large sum! It really has been a life saver for our family on more than one occasion. Simple to set up and so useful if you ever need it.
- Transitioning from military service to a civilian career isn’t always easy. However with Florida’s veteran benefits and the guidance provided by the counselors I benefitted by being able to put more money into savings. - Joel Hawksley, US Army, SGT
- Alan Ray, retired USAF Master Sgt., served 23 years. He and his wife spent over 17 years living in base housing and moving as the USAF required. They saved to buy their first home and to return to Northwest Florida upon retirement. They were able to build a house in Cantonment, Florida, close to where they both grew up, where both of their families live and where they first fell in love.
