$5,833.33 – 9,002.41 monthly

GENERAL DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Prepares federal and state corporate income tax returns
Plans, organizes, and controls the Receiver's estates tax filings and reporting
Provides tax support to all work units
Maintains tax records
Ensures all tax activities incorporate appropriate internal controls
Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations
Represents the Receiver in matters before the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing authorities
Prepares correspondence and responds to IRS matters
Provides comprehensive and cohesive tax planning for the Division
Performs other duties as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, five years of professional experience in the preparation of corporate federal and state income tax returns, and an active Certified Public Accountant license.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in one or more of the following:
Individuals with both tax and auditing/accounting experience
