POSITION TITLE: Business Applications Senior Programmer
POSITION NUMBER: RE083
SALARY RANGE: $4,108.90 - $6,556.23 monthly; Starting salary will be determined based on experience

GENERAL DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Analyzes, defines, and documents application system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, and interfaces with other systems.
  • Analyzes and determines compatibility of business applications, new designs, or modifications with other systems.
  • Performs analysis on and extracts of company data as needed. Imports data into receivership systems and generates data sets for internal and external use.
  • Develops and maintains plans outlining steps and timetables for developing, testing, modifying and installing programs and applications.
  • Converts designs and specifications for screen layouts and other inputs, versions, output needs, and business applications into computer code.
  • Assesses and implements third party software applications for use by receiver employees.
  • Compiles code into programs and corrects errors detected in compile process.
  • Tests and implements system changes in both a test and production environment.
  • Travels as requested.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, management information systems, information systems, computer engineering, and/or mathematics and three years experience in computer programming, computer engineering, computer science, web design, information systems, and/or mathematics, or
  • Seven years experience in computer science, management information systems, information systems, computer engineering, and/or mathematics and three years experience in computer programming, computer engineering, computer science, web design, information systems, and/or mathematics, or
  • One year as a Business Applications Programmer with the Receiver.

Preference will be given to applicants with experience in one or more of the following:

  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Microsoft Visual Studio, specifically Visual Fox Pro, Visual C++, Visual Basic
  • Microsoft .NET
  • Windows 2003 Network
  • HTML, ASP and/or Java programming languages
