Citizens Vice President of Operations


Scott Wallace is the President and Executive Director for Citizens Property Insurance Corporation (Citizens). In these roles, Scott oversees all operations of Citizens.

Mr. Wallace previously served as Citizens Vice President Operations. In this role he directed Underwriting & Actuarial, Product Development, Claims, CAT Claims, Policy Administration and Process Management functions.

Mr. Wallace has over 25 years of experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance and Reinsurance industry. Prior to joining Citizens he held senior management positions for several member companies of the W. R. Berkley Corporation and most recently served as Executive Vice President of Berkley Underwriting Partners, LLC. Mr. Wallace also held senior management positions at Great American Insurance Company, Carvill America and MGIC Indemnity Corporation.

Mr. Wallace earned his B.S. Marketing degree at Arizona State University and his professional affiliations/memberships have included: The American Association of Managing General Agents; National Association of Independent Insurers; National Association of Surplus Lines Offices; Professional Liability Underwriting Society and the Society of Insurance Research.
