The Florida Inter-Agency Grants Consortium is a group consisting of grant managers, financial specialists, government administrators and associated employees of the State of Florida and its partner agencies, who are responsible for the proper use of either State, Federal, or private grant funding administered by the State of Florida.

Our MISSION is to secure maximum funding for the State of Florida through resource sharing, professional networking, dynamic collaboration and problem-solving.

In pursuit of this mission, we seek to facilitate best practices in grant management, and to act as an Inter-Agency resource for State of Florida employees [or citizens] seeking information about grant availability, eligibility, management and training.

Announcements

  1. Six-Month CR for FY 2013 Finds Support in Both Chambers of Congress Fiscal year (FY) 2013 begins on October 1, 2012. In recent weeks, House leadership has pushed for a six-month stopgap continuing resolution (CR) to fund to federal government well past the November elections and the December lame-duck session. House and Senate leaders have now reached agreement on such a measure, though it will probably not be introduced until September. It appears the deal will set discretionary spending for the first six months of the fiscal year at $1.047 trillion, which is the cap set in last year’s debt limit agreement (Budget Control Act of 2011, BCA).
