The Task Force is tasked with developing a strategic business plan for a successor system of financial and cash management in accordance with Florida Statute 17.0315.
The Task Force will also draft the legislation needed to implement a standardized statewide financial and cash management system. The initial report and draft legislation must be submitted to the Governor, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives by February 1, 2009.
The Chief Financial Officer will be the head of the Task Force and will appoint other members as necessary but must include the executive director of the Agency for Enterprise Information Technology and the director of the Office of Policy and Budget in the Executive Office of the Governor. Any member of the Task Force may appoint a designee.
