Quick Tips help you start a Contract Search by explaining the fields with visual aids.
Terms and Conditions describe the purpose of the website and detail contracts available on the site.
Search by Agency Name
By clicking the drop down arrow of this field, you may select the Agency you are interested in. Then select the "Search Contracts" link to see all contracts posted under that Agency. You can refine your search by providing search criteria in the other fields.
Search by Contract Dates
The "Begin" field and "End" field can be used independently or together to refine the contract period that you are searching. You can type the date in the field or choose the date from the calendar then select the "Search Contracts" link. To get a more accurate response, enter your search criteria as MM/DD/YYYY (e.g. 07/27/2012 for July 27, 2012).
Search by Vendor Name
You do not need to enter the complete Vendor name to receive a search result. If you have at least the first three letters of the vendor name, you can type them in this field then select the "Search Contracts" link.
Search by Contract Dollar Value
If you would like to see contracts within a certain value range, enter a numerical value in the "From" field and a greater value in the "To" field. If you would like to see contracts with a value starting at a certain dollar amount, enter that number in the "From" field and leave the "To" field blank. If you would like to see all contracts up to a certain dollar amount, leave the "From" field blank and enter your search value in the "To" field. The "$" sign is not needed as part of your criteria and whole dollars or dollars and cents will work (e.g., 1,000 or 1000.54).
Search by Commodity/Service Type
If you are looking for a particular service performed on behalf of the state, or a commodity that was sold to the state, select an option from the "Commodity/Service Type" field. This helps you quickly navigate through as many as 4,000 potential contract types. Once you select a commodity group, click on the "Search Contracts" button.
Results Insight
Once you have selected at least one search criteria and select the "Search Contracts" link, the results will be displayed on the screen.
At any time you can view the complete contract details of an individual contract by selecting any one of the links displayed under the "Contract Short Title" column.
If you would like to see all of the contract records from your search results, select the "Download Results" link.
You will be prompted with a popup asking "Do you want to open or save this file?" By selecting the "Open" or "Save" link you will have access to the data in a spreadsheet.
The results will look similar to the image below. If you see "#####" characters, this indicates that the data is wider than the default width set in your software application. Expand the column width and the "#####" characters will be replaced with the actual contents of the field.
Reset
If you want to start a new search and previous search criteria are not needed, select the "Reset" button to clear all previous search results and start with blank fields.
