The Division of Public Assistance Fraud (PAF) is responsible for investigating suspected fraud within various programs. We work very closely with our partners to eliminate fraud in our state-administered public assistance programs.
Florida’s public assistance programs are meant to help our most vulnerable families bounce back from difficult times. Some programs lack enough funding to meet all the needs of our fellow citizens. Other programs have sufficient funding but all the funds come from the same source: the taxpayer.
It is everyone’s responsibility to report fraud. Whether it's a family member, a neighbor, friend or someone you don't know… be part of the solution to stopping fraud!
