If you have an insurance question or problem, call the Florida Department of Financial Services Consumer Helpline toll-free at 1-800-342-2762 or our TDD line at 1-800-640-0886 or go to our web site at www.myfloridacfo.com and then click on consumers. In addition, the Department of Financial Services will send a specially trained group called "First Responders" to stricken parts of Florida after a hurricane or major natural disaster. These volunteers can answer questions and provide additional insurance and contact information, when assigned to your area. You may also contact one of the Local Offices for the Division of Consumer Services nearest you or complete an online request form.
