Mission Statement
The mission of the Bureau of Auditing is to assist the Chief Financial Officer in
performing the constitutional and statutory duties of the State's chief fiscal officer
by providing assurance to the taxpayers of Florida, through the effective and efficient preaudit of disbursements and other financial transactions, that funds are disbursed
from the State Treasury strictly in accordance with applicable laws, rules and administrative
policies.
