NEW REVENUE CATEGORY CODE FOR AGENCY DEPOSITS
RELATING TO THE STATEWIDE COST ALLOCATION PLAN (SWCAP) |
Chapter 99-192, Laws of Florida, abolished the State-Federal Relations
Trust Fund (SFRTF) effective July 1, 1999. Beginning July 1, agencies
are required to make deposits relating to the Statewide Cost Allocation
Plan (SWCAP) directly into the General Revenue Fund rather that the
SFRTF. Section 215.195(2), Florida Statutes, states "... If an application
for federal grant or contract funds is approved, the state agency or
judicial branch receiving the federal grant or contract shall identify
that portion representing reimbursement of allocable statewide overhead
and deposit that amount into the General Revenue Fund unallocated as
directed by the Executive Office of the Governor."
Agencies recording this deposit in the General Revenue Fund should
use the following revenue category code:
001517 - Statewide Cost Allocation Transfer
This new revenue category code will allow for the tracking of reimbursements
of allocable statewide overhead in the General Revenue Fund. If you
need additional information or have any questions, please call Molly
Merry at (850) 410-9358, Suncom 210-9358.
