This week a special purge program was run to delete accounts from the Comptrollers Account Description File. The account codes that are purged will be those that have had no activity within the Central Accounting Records as of the date of the purge. Accounts with no activity that were originally added to the file May 1, 1998 and later are not being purged. Account codes with a category code of 0005XX, interest, are not being purged.

If it is determined there is a necessity for an account code that has deleted, you may E-mail, telephone, or send a facsimile describing the difficulty to any of the following personnel in the Bureau of Accounting.
