SUBJECT: FLAIR Transactions Classes
The FLAIR Education Section of the Department of Financial Services will be
conducting FLAIR Transactions Classes (Tuesday - Friday) from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. on the following dates:
October 4-7, 2005
November 1-4, 2005
December 6-9, 2005
January 24-27, 2006
The FLAIR Transactions Class is a four-day class covering, in detail, most
transactions utilized by agency FLAIR users. Also included is an overview of
FLAIR reports and the vendor payment history screens. The class includes many
hands-on activities as well as demonstrations of the FLAIR system.
Spaces are limited and must be reserved in advance. It is recommended that
spaces be reserved at the earliest possible time. The FLAIR Education Team does
not plan to schedule any more Transactions Classes after January 27, 2006.

The FLAIR Transactions Classes will be taught at 2728 Centerview Drive,
Forrest Building (Koger Center) in room 202. Directions to the Forrest Building
from the Capitol are as follows: Drive south on Apalachee Parkway (Hwy US 27) to
the intersection of Capital Circle S.E. (Hwy US 319) and Apalachee Parkway. Turn
right from Apalachee Parkway onto Capital Circle S.E. (by CVS Pharmacy).
Continue to drive on Capital Circle S.E. through one traffic light. Turn right
onto Centerview Drive at the entrance to the New Koger Center. The Forrest
Building is the last building on the right on Centerview Drive. Scramble parking
is available around the Forrest Building, no parking permit is required.
What supplies are needed for FLAIR Transactions class? It is requested
that participants bring a four-inch binder for the FLAIR manual.
What will be provided by the FLAIR Education Team? The 1253-page FLAIR Manual
and a Student Guide will be provided to participants to take back to the agency.
