SUBJECT:  Agency Transfers Pursuant to Section 216.292, Florida Statutes

Historically, agency 5% transfer requests were sent directly by state agencies to the Department of Financial Services for processing.  Effective July 1, 2005, agencies will be asked to submit all 5% transfer requests utilizing LAS/PBS Form 6 and conform to the existing budget amendment process.  State agencies will be expected to submit a paper copy of Form 6 and an electronic copy directly to:

Chapter 2005-152, Laws of Florida, amended section 216.292, Florida Statutes, as follows:

                 ·        Dollar threshold on 5% transfers was increased from $150,000 to $250,000

·        A three day transfer notice will apply to 5% transfer requests
