The Bureau of Auditing provided Contract and Grant Manager training to personnel from several agencies over the past year. Best practices were presented for crucial areas of the contract and grant administration process. Emphasis was placed on areas of weakness revealed through post-audits and expanded pre-audits conducted by the Bureau. We look forward to continuing this training effort in 2004.

The training is developed in the “train the trainer” format. Key agency contract/grant managers and those who are responsible for establishing policies and procedures for the administration of contract and grants are strongly encouraged to attend.

2004 training sessions will be held on January 29, February 11, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 16, July 14, August 11, September 15, and October 13. Each session will be from 9 AM to 2 PM in the Betty Easley Conference Center, Room 182.
