Agency Addressed (No. 13, 2000-01) |
| FROM: |
Douglas A. Darling, Director
Division of Accounting & Auditing
Office of Comptroller |
| SUBJECT: |
INTER-AGENCY MAIL |
The purpose of this memo is to remind and encourage agencies to use
the mailboxes located in Room B-23 of the Fletcher Building to the maximum
extent possible for mail delivery among State offices in Tallahassee.
All too often, routine correspondence from one State agency to another
is sent via the U.S. Postal Service when it could have been delivered
the same day or, at most, the next business day without having to pay
postage. The mailboxes are located adjacent to the Transmittal Office
so agencies should be able to take advantage of this efficient and cost-effective
method of inter-agency mail delivery using the agencies' couriers.
Questions regarding the Inter-Agency Mail Facility may be directed
to Hal Foy in the Bureau of Accounting at (850) 410-9345, e-mail
Stephen_H_Foy@mail.dbf.state.fl.us,
or Andy Ault, Mailroom Supervisor, at (850) 410-9744, e-mail
Andy_Ault@mail.dbf.state.fl.us.
