Effective April 27, 2001, the FLAIR edit requiring that object code 7500 be used when a Catalogue of State Financial Assistance (CSFA) number is entered on the contract or grant information record will be removed. Removal of this edit will allow agencies which assign a CSFA number to an entire appropriation to more easily process non-state financial assistance transactions. The FLAIR edit requiring that if object code 7500 is used at transaction time, then a CSFA number be entered on the contract or grant information record, will remain. Agencies are reminded of the importance of properly coding all state financial assistance transactions. Amounts disbursed as state financial assistance will be furnished upon request to recipients and their auditors. Discrepancies between amounts reported by FLAIR and amounts reported by recipients to their auditors will need to be resolved at the agency level. If additional information is needed, please call Cheri Greene at 410-9313, SUNCOM 210-9313 or e-mail at Cheri_R_Greene@mail.dbf.state.fl.us. |
