Core Functions
- Investigate and resolve utilization and reimbursement disputes between health care providers and carriers.
- Provide administrative support in development of statewide schedules of maximum reimbursement allowances for services rendered under the workers’ compensation system.
- Monitor medical claims data filed with the Division to identify health care provider violations.
- Process Health Care Provider applications.
- Process Expert Medical Advisor applications.
- Maintain Health Care Provider and Expert Medical Advisor databases.
- Provide technical assistance to health care providers and other industry stakeholders in the implementation of the Florida Workers’ Compensation system.
