The Florida State Fire Marshal Jeff Atwater welcomes you to the The Hot Spot, the Florida State Fire College Kids Site.

Jeff Atwater has a deep respect for fire and knows the need for good fire safety practices. He knows how important fire safety rules are. He also knows how important it is to make sure that everybody follows the rules.

"We want you to have a good time here and learn a lot.

Hi kids! My name is Li'l Boots. Welcome to The Florida State Fire College Kids Site. This is the Hot Spot, where you will learn about fire safety and firefighters. We have plenty of things for you to do and a lot of neat things to learn about. We have a little bit of everything. We have stuff about firefighters, and fire trucks. We have some neat games to play too.

At The Game Room we have some cool online games for you to play and if you win in one of them we even have a special certificate to give you. There are also some special pages with things for you to make and do. There is some that you can print out to color.


	PS - There's a hidden surprise too! Look for it in the Home Hazard Game

At Now Showing we have some places you might like to see. We'll start off with a tour of the Florida State Fire College Museum. There you'll see some of the neat stuff we have here at the fire college. There's some cool movies too. So check it out.

In The Firehouse meet the Early American Firefighters and the firefighters of today. Of course there all sorts of pictures and information about fire engine and trucks, special fire trucks, and even fire boats
