The Division of State
Fire Marshal has a written directive system that specifies policies,
procedures, regulations, and practices in writing.
These directives are posted on this web site to ensure
availability to members of the Division.
In compliance with Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, the
directives are posted in a public area for the convenience of the
citizens we serve.
DIVISION DIRECTIVES:
Division Directives are applicable to all members of the
Division of State Fire Marshal.
These directives provide all members with detailed
procedures, instructions and information which they must know and
understand in the performance of their duties.
BUREAU STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (SOP):
Bureau SOPs provide policy, procedures and instructions that pertain
to members of an individual bureau who are charged with particular
responsibilities. Bureau SOPs deal with matters of a specialized
nature and are not of widespread concern to all members of the
Division.
