We insure all state owned and leased buildings
and contents that have values of $500 and more.
These locations are insured through the State Risk
Management Trust Fund in accordance with Chapter
284, Part I, Florida Statutes.
We provide coverage for property damaged by a
covered cause of loss such as fire, lightning,
explosion, windstorm, hail, smoke, aircraft,
vehicles, riot, civil commotion, sinkhole collapse
and flood qualifying under the provision of the
National Flood Insurance Program.
Paragraph 284.01 (3), Florida Statutes, excludes
coverage for museum collections, artifacts, relics,
fine arts, boilers, machinery, enforcement of any
ordinance or law, earth movement, mechanical
breakdown, or for any properties related in any way
with nuclear reactors.
