Job Safety Analysis is a process through which individual hazards inherent to specific jobs are identified. Each step of the job is analyzed to determine possible hazards and prevent them before they occur, when possible.

Donald Trussell, the Safety & Loss Control Program Administrator and Safety Coordinator for the Department of Environmental Protection, has made Job Safety Analysis Worksheets for all jobs at the Department of Environmental Protection available for use.

These worksheets can be used as templates or starting points for doing Job Safety Analyses at other state agencies.
