Is my insurance policy with Union American still in force?

No.  All insurance policies issued by Union American are now expired.

Should I get an insurance policy with another company? If so, where?

Yes.  You may contact any licensed insurance agent to get the names of other insurers. The Florida Department of Financial Services does not recommend any particular company.

Is Union American writing new business?

No. Union American is not currently writing new business during the rehabilitation while the Receiver reviews the company’s current financial situation.
