On May 26, 1998, the Receiver successfully petitioned the Second Judicial Circuit Court in and for Leon County,
Florida (“Court”) to consolidate the receiverships of Southeastern Reinsurance Company, Inc.
("Southeastern Re") and Southeastern Casualty & Indemnity Insurance Company.
Proof of claim forms have been mailed. All claimants that submitted a proof of claim form in these estates
have been notified in writing of the Receiver's recommendation on their claim. All objections to the recommendations
have been resolved.
In January 2004, an initial distribution was made in this estate. A second distribution was made in October 2004.
As of the second distribution all claimants in classes 1, 2, and 3 will have received 100% of the recommended and adjudicated
amount of their claim. If additional assets become available, claimants in classes 4 and beyond will be reviewed for possible
distributions.
Pursuant to the court order, all undelivered distributions will be sent to the Department of Financial Services, Bureau of
Unclaimed Property. The Bureau of Unclaimed Property may be reached at:

is a change in their name or mailing address. When corresponding with the
Receiver, be sure to reference "Southeastern Reinsurance" and the "Receiver's
Claim Number", which will allow the Receiver to associate your
request with the correct claim and receivership.
