New Claims Information

Where should I report a new claim?

Please report any claims to the Receiver using our "Contact Us" form. Alternately, you may contact the Receiver by calling 850-413-3081
.

What is the status of my claim?

All processing and payment of covered claims will be made by the Florida Insurance Guaranty Association (FIGA). FIGA pays claims up to a maximum of $300,000 with a $100 statutory deductible.

How much will be paid on my claim?

FIGA will pay up to $300,000 on covered claims. All claims paid by FIGA are subject to a $100 statutory deductible. Claims that are not covered by FIGA may be considered claims in the estate of Queensway Casualty Insurance Company. In order for any such claim to be considered timely filed, you must have completed a proof of claim form and returned it to the Receiver by the filing deadline which was January 18, 2002. Claims filed after the deadline will be assigned a lower priority.
