New Claims Information - Nationwide Public Employees Trust ("NPET")

How should I submit a new claim?

All new claims should be submitted to the Receiver along with a proof of claim form.  On January 18, 2005, proof of claim notices were mailed to former and present employees of the remaining employee groups that were members of NPET.  The proof of claim forms should have been completed and returned prior to the claims filing deadline of April 29, 2005. Examples of claims against the estate are: a) claims for return premium and/or b) medical bills of employees of municipalities that did not contribute funds to the Receiver for payment of those bills.  Claims filed after the claims filing deadline of April 29, 2005 will be considered “late filed”.  Please note that filing a claim against the estate of NPET does not guaranty full or partial payment of your claim.
