Where should I report a new loss claim?
When a property and casualty company such as Aries goes into liquidation, the Florida Insurance Guaranty
Association ("FIGA") steps in and handles the processing and payment of covered automotive loss claims. However the deadline for filing
a claim with FIGA was November 14, 2005. If you still need to file a claim against
Aries after the deadline, you will need to contact
the Receiver by calling 850-413-3081
.
How much will be paid on my claim?
Since the deadline for filing a claim with FIGA has past, any new filed loss claims will be claims against the estate
of Aries . In addition, since the Receiver's deadline for filing a claim was November 14, 2004, any newly filed claims will be assigned a lower claim priority.
