How do I file a new claim on my surety bond?
Please contact the Receiver's office using our "Contact Us" form or by calling #850-413-3081 (toll-free to Florida residents by calling #800-882-3054). There is no guaranty association coverage for surety bonds. The deadline for filing a claim is August 1, 2011.
If I previously reported my surety bond claim to CIA, do I need to do anything now?
If you previously filed a surety bond claim and have not heard from the Receiver's office, please feel free to contact the Receiver to make sure we are aware of the pending claim.
How much will be paid on my claim?
There is no guaranty association coverage for surety bonds. You will receive a proof of claim form in order to file a claim. The claim filing deadline is August 1, 2011.
